What unmitigated racist drivel, designed to keep blacks down by telling them that they are discriminated against and therefore they have no chance of success.

"Looking at Indiana’s education landscape, it’s easy to understand why Black students forgo college. Let’s look at the most recent college equity report: only 17% of Black students received an Honors diploma, only 40% earned AP or dual credit and only 27% met early success benchmarks. To top it off, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that affirmative action was unconstitutional. These measures encouraged minority students to apply with the promise of equitable admissions."

An Honors diploma is hardly a prerequisite for admission to college. The lack of blacks getting such diplomas is not an act of racism, but rather an indicator that they are not doing Honors level work in High School.

AP classes are not a prerequisite for college admission either. And again, the lack of blacks taking such classes is an indicator that they are not doing AP level work in High School.

Yes, Affirmative Action was unconstitutional, and it was declared as such by the SCOTUS. But did that really make much difference to admissions? No, not at all because colleges are already actively recruiting more POC to meet their diversity goals.

What is the common denominator to blacks attending college? Lack of effective preparation in High School. How about you actually go talk to the NEA, the ISTA, and those tenured unionized teachers in our public schools to figure out why blacks are not excelling in high school? And for once don't let them tell you it is because of lack of money because the data is there for all to see that many of the worst schools are at the top of the funding per student charts.
